Spartanburg Scuffles: A Man Faces Multiple Charges
Good day folks! Today, we bring you a story straight out of Spartanburg where a Greenville man made his experience a tad bit intense and rather dramatic. Sundays are usually gentle and relaxing. Still, this one turned out to be a bit stirring for some Spartanburg residents. This is a story about a domestic disturbance, an apartment at Dr O.C. Kirkland Terrace, to be precise.
Imagine minding your own business and then being called to an apartment because of some ruckus, as one would on an unexpected Sunday evening. That’s just the scenario some officers walked into. They were welcomed by a man, Quorius Nicholson, 36 years young, with palms reaching for the skies and layered with what looked a lot like blood. A scene straight out of an intense drama indeed!
How Did We Get Here?
Well, let’s rewind a bit: Our man Nicholson was upset after a chat with a coworker who admitted knowing Nicholson’s sweetheart from Snapchat. The woman he was seeing decided she wanted out and this didn’t sit well with Nicholson. So, in what would seem like an episode of a soap opera, she asked him to stop by and pick up his clothes and dog.
But old Nicholson had different plans when he arrived. He didn’t just knock at the door; he barged right in through the back door. What happened next wasn’t a joyful reunion. She was thrown onto a couch, a glass table, and even the floor.
A Tense Night
The dramatic saga continued as Nicholson took control of a distress call made by the woman. He allegedly claimed that he was the one attacked and tossed the phone into the sink. Not stopping there, Nicholson took to the outdoors in an attempt to unhook a security camera which was later found in the grass behind the building. But the woman and one of her children managed a swift escape and took asylum in a neighboring house, only to dial 911 once again.
However, a different version of the story unfolded when Nicholson was questioned. He said that a mere argument escalated into an intense brawl, which saw him crashing through a glass table. Nicholson also claimed to have lived in the same apartment but self-evicted to live in Greenville instead. But the officers didn’t find any indicators suggesting that Nicholson lived in the apartment.
The Aftermath
Following the chaotic events, Nicholson was taken into custody on multiple charges – damage to property, burglary, kidnapping, and domestic violence. He is currently stationed at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
So there you have it, the whirlwind narrative of an intense Sunday night in Spartanburg! Remember, we’re here to keep you informed about events as they happen, so stay tuned, and as always, stay safe.
