Greg Force, CEO of Tindall Corporation Announced Retirement

Spartanburg – A notable shift is coming in Spartanburg’s corporate landscape as Greg Force, the long-standing CEO of Tindall Corporation, an established precast, prestressed concrete solutions provider, recently announced his forthcoming retirement. Set to take effect on June 30, the announced retirement follows a series of substantial corporate milestones under Force’s leadership. Cheryl Lang, currently serving as the company’s president, is poised to undertake an expanded role, effectively taking over the CEO position beginning July 1, 2024.

Rich Career and Anticipated Retirement

Tindall Corp’s leader, Greg Force, brought his retirement news into the limelight on May 7, sparking widespread reactions in the corporate sector. Force expressed his deep sense of fulfillment, having had the privilege to steer the Spartanburg-based company to its present recognition. He expressed his confidence that the positive company culture and dedication to doing what’s right would continue to propel Tindall towards future growth.

“I am both humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to lead such an organization made up of so many outstanding people,” Force said. “We’ve undertaken many rewarding opportunities to synergistically create innovative market solutions across a broad spectrum of sectors. I am confident they will continue to inspire the company’s future growth.”

A Legacy of Innovation

Force joined Tindall in 1988, initially serving as the chief engineer at Tindall Concrete Virginia Inc., which has since been renamed the Virginia Division of Tindall Corp. With a dedicated commitment to innovation and quality, Force ascended the corporate ladder, serving as vice president and general manager of the Virginia Division and corporate president and chief operating officer before his tenure as CEO. A graduate of prestigious institutions including Lehigh University and Georgia College & State University, his engineering credentials extend across 10 states. Force’s departure will undoubtedly mark the end of an era for Tindall Corp.

Transitioning Leadership

Following Force’s retirement, Tindall Corp’s current President, Cheryl Lang, will step into an expanded role, assuming the CEO position on July 1, 2024. Lang’s breadth of experience in the company has prepped her well for the transition and the step into the leadership continuity plan.

Despite the impending change in its top leadership structures, Tindall Corporation’s commitment to delivering high-level, precise solutions for construction needs, from transportation and utility products all the way to federal and architectural structures will remain unchanged. Regardless of these executive shifts, the company continues to be guided by its mission of establishing itself as a preferred partner while maintaining its dominance in the areas of quality, service, and safety.
