Brew Bash Details
The event is set to take place at Rockers Brewing Co. and Restaurant. It will feature live music, a variety of pet-related vendors, exciting cocktail specials, and other activities to keep guests entertained from 11 a.m to 10 p.m. A professional photographer will also be on-site from 1-2 p.m. to capture memorable moments of the attendees and their pets.
Pint for a Cause
Every pint sold during the Rockers Rescue Brew Bash will indirectly contribute towards the welfare of pets in Spartanburg. The restaurant will donate a dollar from every pint to the Hub City Animal Project. Over the past couple of years, events like this have raised nearly $15,000, significantly impacting the effort to reduce animal homelessness in the area.
Is Your Pet Spartanburgโs Favorite?
Alongside the festivity and fundraising, the event will also mark the beginning of the Hub City Animal Project’s contest to find Spartanburg’s favorite cat and dog. The winnings pets will have their pictures featured on the labels of the 2024 RJ Rockers Rescue Brew and will act as spokesdog and spokescat for the Hub City Animal Project. The submission period will run from Aug. 17 to Sept. 7.
John Bauknight, the owner of RJ Rockers Brewing Co., mentioned that around 20 to 25 cases of beer would feature the winning pets, each case containing 24 cans. According to Bauknight, his company is excited about the event and looking forward to welcoming the community for a fun-filled Saturday.
Spartanburgโs Fight against Animal Homelessness
Every profit from the Hub City Animal Project is directed toward raising awareness about animal homelessness around Spartanburg. The project works in collaboration with several organizations in Spartanburg, contributing funds towards free and low-cost spay and neuter programs.
With Hub City Animal Project and initiatives like the Rockers Rescue Brew Bash, the community is making strides in supporting the well-being of pets. It not only offers a platform to raise funds for a noble cause but presents a fun way for locals to come together and celebrate their pets while contributing to a more considerable cause.
