Spartanburg welcomes annual Piedmont Interstate Fair
Welcome to sunny Spartanburg, South Carolina! The anticipation in the city is palpable as the much-awaited Piedmont Interstate Fair rolls into town. Many will agree that the fair brings with it a week of exhilarating fun, mouth-watering food, competitive games, and unforgettable moments.
Tuesday marked the start of the week-long celebration, but don’t fret if you missed day one, the party carries on all the way through to Sunday, October 13th. With so much on offer, there’s sure to be a day that suits everyone’s schedule.
Where to find your fun
The Piedmont Interstate Fair is easy to spot. It’s located at 575 Fairgrounds Road, right here in our beautiful city of Spartanburg. You can buy admission and ride tickets at the gate, so no need to pre-book; just stroll right in!
All the fun and games provided by the various rides will surely be a hit with all ages. Do note, however, that each ride requires 10-25 tickets. So, grab your tickets and brace yourself for some excitement!
Opening hours
Mark your calendars, the gates will be opening from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. during the week, from Tuesday through Friday. If the weekend is more your style, Saturday’s gate opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m., while Sunday’s will open from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Plenty of time to enjoy all the fun and festivities on offer!

But the Piedmont Interstate Fair isn’t just about thrill rides, oh no! It offers everyday events that truly embody the heart and soul of Spartanburg.
