If you’re a regular user of I-85 North at Exit 57, you may need to adjust your route. The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced that traffic at the aforementioned exit will be maintained but redirected away from the ongoing work zone.

The changes in traffic pattern stem from the urgent need to repair damages at exit 57 that occurred during the unfortunate event of Hurricane Helene. The SCDOT has seen it fit to shift traffic away from the zone to effect the necessary repairs appropriately. If you regularly access the airport from SC 14 North, you should anticipate a detour. Your drive will now take you to the next exit, routing you south to the SC 14 exit.
