Boiling Springs, known for its historic charm and growing community, welcomes yet another culinary addition with the recent opening of Biscuitville Fresh Southern at 4441 Highway 9 on Tuesday, July 23. This marks the Southern, scratch-made biscuit franchise’s eighth location in the Palmetto State, and the third in the Upstate region.
On its inaugural day, Biscuitville welcomed the community with a grand opening from 8 a.m. until noon. Not only were guests introduced to the chain’s famous biscuits, but some lucky patrons also walked away with a year’s worth of free breakfasts. The celebratory day concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:15 p.m.
Established in 1966, Biscuitville Fresh Southern is a family-owned restaurant chain from Greensboro, North Carolina. The chain specializes in Southern cuisine, using locally-sourced ingredients to prepare fresh biscuits every 15 minutes. Known as a breakfast-dedicated eatery, Biscuitville offers a menu heaving with delectable breakfast items such as biscuits, muffins, and pancakes. The chain currently operates over 80 locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Apart from the new Boiling Springs outlet, Biscuitville Fresh Southern has opened locations at 940 W. Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greer and 1679 E. Main St. in Duncan over the past year. The Boiling Springs restaurant now joins existing sites in Duncan and Greer, Indian Land, Hartsville, two locations in Columbia, and Florence, making it the eighth operating restaurant in South Carolina.
To celebrate the grand opening in Boiling Springs, Biscuitville Fresh Southern organized a “free breakfast for a year” contest. Entrants had to fill out an online application before 8 a.m. on July 23 to be eligible. Then, at the event, the names of ten lucky winners were announced. This venture added an unexpected twist to the exciting inaugural day.
Biscuitville’s success is linked to more than just serving great-tasting food. A large part of the chain’s popularity comes from the commitment to use locally sourced ingredients and the refreshing freshness of their offerings. Drawing heavily from Southern cooking traditions, their biscuits, muffins, and pancakes are a testament to the restaurant’s promise of quality food.
Here News Network looks forward to tracking the growth and success of this new Biscuitville Fresh Southern location in Boiling Springs. As a significant addition to the community, this establishment is poised to satisfy the breakfast cravings of many locals and visitors alike.
