Their new efforts stem from a safety awareness initiative that revolves around securing young passengers appropriately when they’re riding in a vehicle.

As it turns out, car crashes are consistently listed among the top causes of fatalities suffered by children. In fact, last year alone, a total of 42,514 traffic fatalities were reported across the United States. Shockingly, among these, 1,129 victims were children aged 14 and under, and here’s the real kicker: 39% of these children were not restrained properly at the time of the accident.
