Visit to Spartanburg

Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, has announced a scheduled appearance in Spartanburg next week, preceding the South Carolina Republican Primary slated for February 24. The visit includes participating in an episode taping for the show The Ingraham Angle alongside conservative television host, Laura Ingraham. The episode recording will take place on Tuesday, February 20.

Hosting the taping for the episode will be the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, in front of a live audience. The one-hour event is set to begin at 2.45 p.m., with airing scheduled for the same day, at 7 p.m. The episode’s central focus will encompass “domestic and foreign policy challenges facing America and solutions for addressing them.”

Town Hall: Audience Participation and Discussion Points

The town hall component of the event provides live audience members the opportunity to engage directly with the former President by asking questions. The town hall’s potential to draw a novel coalition of voters and the notable shift in minority polling towards Trump are among the matters to be explored during the event.

In addition, other significant topics expected to be tabled during the town hall include Trump’s ongoing legal battles, the remaining primaries, his potential vice-presidential pick, and other news making headlines on the day.

The Ingraham Angle

The popular show, The Ingraham Angle, hosted by Laura Ingraham, was first launched in October 2017. Ever since its premiere, the show has consistently clinched the top-rated slot for its time segment, with a remarkable 2.2 million viewers tuning in since January 2024. The last interview conducted by Ingraham with Trump was held in February 2022.
