SCC Donates Kindness by the Truckload
From now until 11 a.m. on Friday, October 11, donations of supplies will be warmly welcomed. SCC employees will then perform the heartening task of delivering these donations to those in need on Friday afternoon. It just goes to show, “Every little bit counts to someone who has lost so much”, as SCC’s own Police Chief and the organizer of this mission, emphasizes.
While the world often ties us up in the practicalities of daily life, this humble initiative reminds us that we’re all part of a much bigger picture – a community that looks out for one another. And who better to reflect the essence of community spirit than a Community College itself?
How To Make Your Donations
Donโt worry, making a donation is simple! If youโd like to lend a helping hand, all you need to do is drop off your supplies at the SCC Police Station on Spartanburg (Giles) Campus. You can find the station located at 107 Community College Drive Spartanburg, SC.
Remember, the deadline to drop off your donations is up until 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct 11. Don’t wait until the last minute. Every single donation counts and the sooner they are collected, the quicker they can be put to use helping our neighbors in Western NC.
