PuddN’ is also significant for being the first business launched under the Power Up Spartanburg’s Access to Space program, which supports small businesses with rental assistance to promote local entrepreneurship and economic growth in Spartanburg County.

The Access to Space program offers rental assistance that covers the full first six months of lease payments. This gives small businesses like PuddN’ a solid foundation to grow and flourish. After that initial period, Power Up Spartanburg continues to offer support by reducing its financial assistance by just 10% each month until a year has passed. Behind the scenes, Power Up Spartanburg is a remarkable initiative brought to life by OneSpartanburg Inc.. Its goal is to make Spartanburg County a hot spot for small businesses. So far, a striking number of 2,078 intake forms have been submitted, illustrating just how much small business owners are seeking support. The impact continues to ripple through the community, with 180 jobs created and 19 small businesses registered under this initiative.
