On February 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Paris Mountain State Park is welcoming enthusiastic volunteers for their School Program Volunteer Orientation. If you have the passion to work with children in grades 2-5, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference through the Discover Carolina school programs. Just remember, registration is required!
The acclaimed Greenville Zoo will be closed for a little maintenance from February 3 to 13 but will reopen with a big smile on February 14 at 10 a.m., welcoming families again to explore the fantastic animals that call the zoo home!
Moms in Motion is holding their weekly program every Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Mauldin Sports Center. This unique workout is specifically designed for pregnant and postpartum mothers, with plenty of opportunity to engage with the kiddos. It’s a great way to get fit and meet other moms in the community!

The Spartanburg County Bookmobile will make stops at TCMU-Spartanburg from 2 to 4 p.m. on select days, while the Afternoon Exploration from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at the Roper Mountain Science Center offers hands-on experiences for curious minds.
Be sure to mark your calendars for the free Neighborhood Night at the Upcountry History Museum from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Also, the Winter Chautauqua features a mesmerizing performance of Charlie Chaplin at multiple venues across the region, all with free admission!
Parents looking for Valentine’s Day plans can take advantage of the Valentine’s Day-themed Parents’ Night Out at Judson Mill Play Cafe from 5 to 9 p.m., with kids’ playtime and pizza on offer.
