Starting from this weekend, ‘Park Hop’ is offering a free, summer-long scavenger hunt at park and recreation venues throughout Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. Park Hop is an interactional programme designed to help children and families discover featured parks while solving clues and riddles. This creates moments of fun, education, and exploration. The ParkHop app, available in GooglePlay and the App Store, can guide you through Parks in Greenville and Spartanburg Counties.
You can also catch the spectacle of Disney on Ice as they perform Frozen & Encanto from May 25-27 at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Enjoy the magic and wonder of your favourite Disney characters in an unforgettable ice skating performance.
If you are looking for an active way to spend the weekend, the Greenville Downtown Airport’s 11th Annual Take Flight 5k and 1-mile race is calling all enthusiasts on May 25. The race is a unique fundraiser for the Runway Park and GMU’s Community Corridor. The event organizers encourage costumes and teams to participate.
Meanwhile, the Upcountry History Museum is launching the interactive learning experience exhibit, Curious George: Let’s Get Curious!, on May 25. This hands-on, bilingual (English and Spanish), interactive experience has been designed for children aged 2 to 8 years. The exhibit continues until October 6.
The grand opening of “Wings in the Air” is scheduled on May 25 at TCMU-Greenville, where guests can embark on an adventurous journey to Colombia.
