Greenville, Spartanburg Restaurants Offer Delicious Deals for Restaurant Week 2024

Greenville, Spartanburg Restaurants Offer Delicious Deals for Restaurant Week 2024

The ever-popular Restaurant Week, hosted by the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association (SCRLA), returns from August 15 to 25 in 2024, with delightful three-course dining deals and more at over 70 restaurants in the Greenville and Spartanburg area. The 11-day event provides gastronomes an opportunity to savor the unique tastes and charms of the Upstate’s finest dining establishments while promoting the flourishing food scene in the two counties.

Exploring New Dining Experiences

Restaurateurs taking part in this event offer discounted lunch and dinner options to patrons, with an aim to drive footfall and to boost visibility of eateries in the Greenville and Spartanburg region. “Our hope is that people go out and try restaurants they haven’t tried before as they’re all unique and possess great summer produce and menus,” said Lenza Jolley, Vice President of Membership and Development at SCRLA.

Since its inception in 2010, this specific Restaurant Week has hosted a mix of local, regional, and national dining options. Its broader vision is to encourage those living in the Upstate to dine locally.

Select Deals to Savor During Restaurant Week

Among the myriad of participating restaurants, there are a few deals and dishes that particularly deserve attention. The much-loved American craft restaurant, Kitchen Sync, offers a $34 three-course deal with a choice between a delectable tomato pie or shrimp burger as the main course.

Italian eatery Limoncello offers a buy one get one pizza deal, with the spare rib pizza being a standout choice, topped with succulent braised beef and caramelized onions. Spare Time Entertainment rounds out the extensive list of delicious deals with a $25 package that includes a three-course meal and a $10 gaming card.

A Culinary Tour Around Downtown Greenville

Restaurant Week includes a wide array of dining establishments in Downtown Greenville. Ji-roz, a standout Greek diner, offers a $45 per person three-course meal that is quintessentially Hellenic. Equally enticing is Fork and Plough’s similar $46 deal, featuring their must-try fried Carolina catfish. For those with a sweet tooth, La Rue Fine Chocolates offers a delightful $20 chocolate flight.

Scrumptious Spartanburg Specials

If you find yourself in Spartanburg during the event, consider stopping by CityRange Steakhouse. Known for its popular holiday menu, the summer options aren’t too shabby either. An enticing $33.33 deal gets you a three-course meal with a choice of mouth-watering orange barbecue salmon or chicken pesto pasta. Alternatively, Cribbs Kitchen offers a three-course treat for $35, featuring shrimp and grits with grits sourced locally from Spartanburg’s Colonial Milling, paired with succulently caught trout from North Carolina.

Planning for Restaurant Week

To make the most of this gastronomic juggernaut, a little planning goes a long way. Make sure reservations are booked in advance as many upstate residents will also be planning to dine out. Additionally, ensure all restaurant deals are accurate and available by checking the restaurant week website or by directly contacting the participating venues. As always, a little patience and understanding towards the hospitality staff during this busy period is always prudent and appreciated.
