It’s that wonderful time of the year again, and the towns in the Upstate area are going all out with their Christmas parades and tree lighting ceremonies. Here’s your guide to when and where these cheerful events will be taking place.
The Light Up Landrum Christmas Parade is set to kick off at 6 p.m. in downtown Landrum. Landrum sure knows how to light up the night. On College Ave, the City of Clemson’s Christmas Parade will start around the same time. Trust us, you won’t want to miss it!
If you’re looking for some afternoon festivities, the Honea Path’s Christmas Parade kicks off early at 11 a.m. on North Main St. Plus, they’re also having a Festival of Trees starting at 12 p.m., how fun is that?
Taking things a little slower, the City of Belton’s Christmas Parade will get going at 3 p.m., so you have plenty of time to find a good spot!
Love staying out late? Then you’ll want to head over to Pickens’ Christmas Parade that will start at 7 p.m. on Main St. It promises to be a magical evening.
Taking place on West Main St, the Town of Gray Court Christmas Parade is all set to start at 2 p.m. while the Greenville’s Poinsettia Christmas Parade kicks off later at 6:30 p.m. Just remember that road closures start at 12 p.m.!
Switching gears a bit to tree lighting ceremonies, let’s start with Greer’s Christmas Tree Lighting. Be there by 5 p.m. in Greer City Park to witness the spectacular lighting.
Another event to check out? The City of Laurens’ Christmas Market. Opening at 10 a.m. and wrapping up at 2 p.m., this event also features a tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m.
And finally, at 6 p.m., the City of Laurens is planning a grand tree lighting in the heart of downtown, after their Christmas Market which opens at 3 p.m.
In the mood for a real late-night dazzler? Head over to downtown Easley for the Easley Christmas Parade of Lights, also starting at 6 p.m.
