A Spartanburg County Family’s Home Ransacked After Hurricane Helene Evacuation

A few days after their evacuation, however, the homeowner received an alarming call from a concerned neighbor who’d noticed their front door open and took the initiative to close it.
Upon their return, the residents experienced a new shock. The back door of their home was found wide open. Burglars, it appeared, had rummaged through their home – drawers were found rifled through and cabinets left ajar. Not only this, but all of the wife’s clothes were missing, a comforter gone, and even a PlayStation 4 was nowhere to be found.

Two trailers parked in front of their house, which they had ensured were locked and secure, showed signs of forced entry and were found broken into.
