Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office in Urgent Search for Missing Endangered Man, Seeks Public’s Assistance

Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Assistance to Locate Missing, Endangered Man

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking the public’s help in the search for a missing man they consider endangered. 60-year-old Stanley Kotowski was last seen at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Friday, along South Sea Pines Drive, Beaufort County, SC. Stanley is six feet tall, weighs around 200 pounds, and has short brown hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was seen wearing a Coors Light t-shirt, blue shorts, and no shoes. His distinctive Boston accent further identifies him.

Family Pleads for Public Assistance

The missing man’s wife and son, Jackie and Zachary Kotowski, have expressed their distress and concern over Stanley’s disappearance. “We just need people everywhere to be looking because he could be anywhere,” Jackie said. The family is notably perturbed about his mental health struggles, although they clarified that Stanley does not suffer from dementia.

Describing the situation as a “nightmare,” Zachary remarked, “We are just waking up into something that feels like a terrible dream. We are just waiting for it to end.” The family is doing all they can to find Stanley and are asking for public assistance. “Please help us. That’s really all I want to say is please get out there and help us. We can’t do it on our own,” pleads Jackie.

Operation to Find Kotowski

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is sparing no effort in the search for Stanley. They have recoursed to deploying K9s, helicopters, drones, boats, and foot patrols to aid in the operation. In addition, they are working in collaboration with other agencies to widen their search outreach.

Beaufort County officials have advised residents not to be alarmed by the increased law enforcement activity and not to disrupt deputies in their exhaustive search operations.

Call for Surveillance Footage Review

Residents with surveillance cameras have been urged to review their footage and look out for any sign of Stanley. The officials have also asked locals to check their personal properties for any possible traces or signs of the missing man.

Anyone with any information about Stanley’s whereabouts is advised to call the non-emergency number at (843) 524-2777.
