Spartanburg, a city known for its maintained rejuvenation and development, constantly works to increase amenities for the community. Keeping in line with this reputation, a fresh wave of entertainment is about to sweep through the town courtesy of Monster Mini Golf, a brainchild of Billy Jacobs, a Spartanburg local.
Monster Mini Golf, forecasted to open by August, will be an indoor, 18-hole mini-golf course accompanied by an arcade and a four-lane bowling alley. Family-oriented and fun for all, the establishment aims to provide another venue for community members to enjoy.
Billy Jacobs, owner of Monster Mini Golf, shared how mini-golf has always conjured up fond, childhood images. Recollecting the older mini-golf spots of the past, Jacobs desires to recreate these joyful memories for all families in Spartanburg. He asserted, “Greenville is indeed a bustling city but on certain occasions, particularly with young kids, it becomes challenging to make that drive just for something out-of-the-ordinary.“
Monster Mini Golf plans on opening their doors for enjoyment from Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m to 9 p.m. Fridays will extend the fun till 10 p.m. On the weekends, they are scheduled to operate from 12 p.m to 10 p.m on Saturdays, and 12 p.m to 8 p.m on Sundays. In addition to this, the first 100 people attending the yet-to-be-announced grand opening will receive a $5 arcade card along with a complimentary round of mini-golf.
The news of a new hotspot of enjoyment has built up anticipation within the local community. The idea of an entertainment haven being available just around the corner has given the residents of Spartanburg something exciting to look forward to.
Recognizing the significance of communal spaces that foster interaction and joy, Monster Mini Golf, situated behind the popular Hickory Tavern on 141 Fernwood Dr., expects to add another option of togetherness and family entertainment in Spartanburg.
As the excitement builds and the opening of Monster Mini Golf draws nearer, the people of Spartanburg are eagerly waiting to welcome this new addition to their city as a hub of family-oriented fun and amusement.
