Heartbreaking Motorcycle Crash Claims Young Life in Inman

Sunday evening, just before the 9 o’clock hour, there was a single-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a Greenville teenager in Inman. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends during these difficult times.
The accident happened on Highway 9 near Victoria Drive. According to local authorities, a 2016 Kawasaki was headed south when it skidded off the right side of the road. The motorcycle ran into a curb before smacking into a guardrail. Sadly, the young rider could not survive the crash.
Elyjah Wayne Martin, a promising life cut short
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office confirmed the victim’s identity as Elyjah Wayne Martin, a nineteen-year-old from Greenville. His untimely death has undoubtedly sent shockwaves through the community. Our hearts go out to the Martin family for their devastating loss.
