The incident, as reported by the South Carolina Highway Patrol, occurred last Friday around 1:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 321 approximately 2 miles north of Winnsboro in Fairfield County.

The victims were riding 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycles south on the highway when they collided with a 2016 Dodge pickup truck attempting to join the highway from S.C. Highway 269. The force of the impact necessitated immediate medical intervention, with both motorcyclists being transported to a Richland County emergency room.
