In a bid to reignite the cultural flame in Spartanburg, the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium has made an exciting announcement about its upcoming 2024-2025 Broadway season. The lineup features four pop-culture friendly shows, including “Shrek The Musical,” “Tina-The Tina Turner Musical,” “The Addams Family,” and “Pretty Woman: The Musical.”
Season tickets for these much-anticipated shows are currently available (BroadwayinSpartanburg.com). The diverse lineup caters to a broad audience, bringing some of Broadway’s top shows to the heart of Spartanburg.
The show schedule has been carefully curated to keep the excitement going throughout the season:
This announcement comes as a fresh breath of air, following a twenty-year hiatus since Broadway was last hosted at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. The auditorium has partnered with Nederlander Productions to produce Broadway shows in the city, further promoting local arts and community engagement.
Subscriptions to the Broadway shows are now on sale, with packages starting at $135. Current subscribers can renew their tickets, while new subscribers can purchase season tickets at BroadwayinSpartanburg.com. Alternatively, the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium Box Office can be reached at 864-582-8107 (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) or visitors can purchase in person at the box office.
Additionally, those interested in more Broadway performances can look forward to Greenville’s Peace Center 2024-2025 season. Eight new touring productions have been announced, along with anticipated box office hits such as Disney’s “The Lion King” and “Hamilton”. Ten-show season subscriptions for the Peace Center begin at $549.
With a resurgence in local performances, both Spartanburg and Greenville are set to become cultural hubs, providing locals and visitors with top-notch entertainment, right at their doorstep.
