The Voice of Business Brunch, organized by OneSpartanburg Inc, will take place from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Citizens & Southern Event Center (148 W. Main St., Spartanburg). In this segment, Russ Dubisky of SC Insurance Association, Sara Hazzard of SC Manufacturers Alliance, and Susan Cohen of SC Restaurant and Lodging Association will engage in a discussion about liability and insurance issues impacting local bars, restaurants, and venues, and discuss potential solutions. OneSpartanburg Inc. members can join for $30 while nonmembers would need to pay $40.
The Energy & Environmental Compliance Committee meeting will be held at ReWa Water Discovery Lab (564 Maudlin Road, Greenville) from 8:30-9:30 a.m. All Greenville Chamber members interested in environmental issues and their business implications are welcome to join.
The Fountain Inn Chamber is hosting the “Business Before Hours” networking event from 8:30-10 a.m. at Quillen Manor (709 Quillen Ave., Fountain Inn). This event is free for all Fountain Inn Chamber members, with a nominal fee of $5 for nonmembers.
The Simpsonville Chamber will hold a networking event known as the Lunch & Learn Series from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Simpsonville Chamber, Prisma Health Conference Room (105-A W. Curtis St., Simpsonville). With the opportunity to hear from a guest speaker, Simpsonville Chamber members can join for $10 and nonmembers for $20.
From noon-1 p.m., the “Funding Your Business” workshop will take place via a Webinar. The workshop will cover traditional financing methods like grants and loans and modern ones like crowdfunding.
The Links Group #2 meeting is set to take place from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce (550 S. Main St., Suite 550, Greenville). This group, which engages in business networking and referral marketing, does not compete with others and welcomes all interested parties.
This quarter, the Upstate Entrepreneur Ecosystem event will be held from 3-5 p.m. at the Park 37 Community Room (150 Executive Center Drive, Greenville). Entrepreneurs and smaller businesses can join service organizations in networking and sharing resources for the betterment of the local business environment.
