South Carolina’s Tindall Corporation, a leader in precast, prestressed concrete solutions, just put a familiar face in the general manager’s seat: Ashley Fortenberry. Having been with the company straight out of college, Fortenberry brings two decades of hands-on experience and deep-seated knowledge of the company to her new role.
Fortenberry’s journey with Tindall Corporation began immediately after graduating from Clemson University. Over the years, she climbed the corporate ladder, transitioning from a project engineer to project management in the South Carolina Division.
On September 1, 2024, Fortenberry officially stepped into her new position as General Manager. She will take over the reins from David Britt, the outgoing General Manager, who will take on a slightly different role within the company as Vice President. As General Manager, Fortenberry will be responsible for managing all division operations – from sales and project development to manufacturing, delivery and installation. Not just that, professional development within the South Carolina team will also come under her purview.
In response to her promotion, Fortenberry expressed enthusiasm and a continued commitment to quality. She eagerly looks forward to contributing to the company’s ongoing success and driving further innovations.
Tindall Corporation has long appreciated Fortenberry’s considerable skills and expertise. “[We] have come to rely on Ashley’s considerable talents and her knowledge of our business,” stated Britt. He praised her innovative spirit and her sincere interest in team growth and development. “I am excited about this announcement and [look] forward to working closely with her.”
Fortenberry’s promotion marks the second significant leadership change at Tindall Corporation this summer. In July, Cheryl Lang took over as CEO, succeeding the former executive, Greg Force. These changes reflect Tindall’s vision of moving forward with a fresh perspective while still cementing their roots in their traditional business values.
Operating out of Spartanburg, Tindall Corporation continues to make a mark in the industry with engineering, manufacturing, shipping, and installation solutions for precast, prestressed concrete systems and underground utility structures. The company’s solid dedication to quality is not just restricted to South Carolina but dispersed across six other locations strewn across South and Mid-Atlantic.
In other news, Tindall Corporation has announced a significant move into a new building, concurrently revamping an abandoned downtown building in the city that hasn’t seen use for over two decades. However, it wasn’t disclosed whether the refurbishments were intended for commercial or residential purposes.
All in all, Tindall Corporation is looking toward a promising future – one of expansion, innovation, and success under new leadership.
