Pet of the Week: Ambrose

SPARTANBURG, S.C.

It’s Monday, and that means it’s time for another ‘Pet of the Week’! This week’s star is an adorable 2-month-old hound mix who goes by the name Ambrose. This playful pup is ready to find his fur-ever home and light up the lives of his forever family.

Meet Ambrose, the Two-Month-Old Pup!

Ambrose and his two sisters are currently residing at the Spartanburg Humane Society awaiting adoption. He’s the perfect delightful companion for anyone looking for a larger dog and is especially great for families. Already neutered and microchipped, Ambrose can be adopted as soon as today.

As the spotlight of this week, Ambrose is a hound mix puppy, boasting a playful nature, typical of his breed. His curious eyes are full of life and excitement, offering the promise of a loyal and lively pet. He has already been introduced-to, and gets along well with his fellow canines at the shelter. Despite his young age, he is able to follow basic commands, showing the beginnings of a well-disciplined dog.

The cost to adopt Ambrose is $195. However, this fee includes not just the adoption cost but a comprehensive care package as well. The adoption fee includes six nights of boarding at the eminent Southport Kennel, five days of daycare at Hounds Town, and an engraved tag courtesy of Paisley Paw.

Preparing to Bring Ambrose Home

Along with the adoption, future pet parents will receive a voucher for Ambrose’s rabies vaccine, which is due when he turns 4 months old. This thoughtful measure ensures that all pets adopted from the Spartanburg Humane Society are in the best of health and well-prepared as they step into their new homes.

While Ambrose is just one among many pets waiting for adoption, his cheerful disposition and loving nature make him an ideal pet. His hopeful eyes and playful demeanor guarantee smiles, laughter, and a wealth of memories for his future family.
