It’s a Game-Changer! New Safety Protocols to Swing into Action at Broome High School Sports Events
Hey there folks from Greenville, South Carolina Our local high school football games are just about to get a lot more organized and secure! Spartanburg School District Three has been hard at work crafting new safety measures ensuring every family outing to our beloved home games is just as safe and enjoyable as can be. And guess what? These new rules are kicking into play starting from Friday, September 20, at the Broome High School vs. Powdersville High School face-off, commencing at 7:30 p.m!
What’s the Game Plan?
Excitement is rife in the air, just as it always is before the mighty clash of our community’s high schools, but this time there’s a fresh breeze of discipline to wave in too. Here’s how it’ll play out:
First and foremost, all Broome High School students, as well as those from the visiting team’s high school, will need to carry their photo IDs for entry. It’s a simple, effective way to regulate who’s coming into the stadium, isn’t it?
Wait, we’ve got more! The District hasn’t forgotten our youngsters either. From here on, students in 8th grade and below must be accompanied by a responsible adult โ a parent, guardian, hall monitor โ someone to watch them and stick around them throughout the game. It’s a good way to ensure everyone, regardless of age, gets to enjoy the game and stay safe too!
The Half-Time Show
Remember how spectators could freely walk around and cross over to the other side of the stadium during the game? Well, that is set to change. The District officials have now mandated that spectators may walk to the other side of the stadium only before or after the game. It looks like the focus will be solely on the match during those intense playing hours!
The Final Whistle
So folks, let’s welcome this new game plan with open arms, cheering our teams while adhering to these new procedures. After all, it’s not just about winning the game, itโs about enjoying sport safely and responsibly. So get ready with your flags and placards, don that school spirit, and letโs ensure the games are safe and enjoyable for all! Go for it, Greenville!
More updates to follow on the new measuresโ effectiveness. Stay tuned!
