Even before the cookout and camp, South Carolina was already making waves in the recruitment scene. The Gamecocks extended an offer to 2025 four-star tight end Mikkel Skinner, a student at Riverside High School in Greer, S.C. Although Skinner couldn’t attend the cookout, plans are being made for a visit soon.
Throughout June, several 2025 commitments pledged to join the Gamecocks. One such commitment is from three-star quarterback Cutter Woods, who had formerly committed to Wake Forest.
