Spartanburg, S.C. – The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that deputies are currently investigating a private school band director who was fired on Thursday. The band director, who worked at Spartanburg Day School, was terminated for behavior that “significantly violated the school’s code of conduct and terms of employment,” according to a school spokesperson.
Upon discovering the conduct of the band director, school leaders took immediate action and terminated his employment. Additionally, the school reported the incident to law enforcement for further investigation. At this time, no specific details regarding the nature of the allegations or potential charges have been disclosed to the public.
