Ever been to a basketball game so exciting you could hear the cheers all the way from downtown Spartanburg? Well, that’s exactly what happened at the latest nail-biting showdown where Wofford took on Gardner-Webb. Let us walk you through the highlights.
A round of applause for Jeremy Lorenz who made an impressive contribution to Wofford’s victory. This mega-star player netted 16 points, missing just one of his eight shots. Talk about having a hot hand! Lorenz wasn’t alone in the limelight, though.
Let’s not forget Kyler Filewich who also showed off his prowess on court by adding 15 points, hitting 7 out of 11 from the field, not to mention hauling in nine rebounds. That’s a stat line you can’t ignore.
As if that were not enough, Corey Tripp also put up a stellar performance for Wofford, shooting 6 for 11 and adding 14 points to the total. There was no question about it, the Terriers were on fire!
There’s no denying, however, that Gardner-Webb put up a spirited fight. Jamaine Mann clocked in with an impressive 15 points, while Jacob Hudson bolstered the Runnin’ Bulldogs with another 14 points. Meanwhile, teammate Colin Hawkins added a cool nine points and nabbed two steals.
Despite their valiant efforts, Gardner-Webb’s Runnin’ Bulldogs fall to a 4-5 record while Wofford marches on with an equal line of 4-5.
Remember when the color of the year used to be something that caught everyone’s eye? This year’s color, dubbed “Mocha Mousse,” is set to be an intriguing blend with the promises of emitting both cozy and inspired vibes. I’m convinced that mocha mousse toned garlands are going to be the new trend in decor this festive season.
And keeping it warm—in more ways than one—electric fireplaces have emerged as the talk of the season. With their easy installation and operation, they’re quickly taking over as the fireplace of choice over traditional wood-burning varieties. Just imagine enjoying a toasty winter evening at home, the glow of your new electric fireplace reflecting off your mocha mousse-themed decorations.
Speaking of decorations, there’s news on the grapevine that massive discounts are to be had on new wreaths or garlands. What’s a festive season without a little bit of shopping, right?
So folks, whether you’re reveling in the thrill of Spartanburg’s basketball games, warming up by the light of an electric fireplace, or adorning your homes with the color of the year, keep the spirit lively and the cheer aplenty as we move towards the end of another memorable year.
