SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Spartanburg County School District Six and the community are remembering the life and impact of beloved teacher, Angie Angeli. Angeli, a teacher at Fairforest Middle School, sadly passed away on Monday after her battle with cancer. The district said for over 25 years, Angeli has touched the lives of countless students and teachers within the district.

She was a mentor, friend, cheer coach, baseball fan, dance enthusiast and “beacon of light”. “The love she expressed for her son Douglas, her family, our district, and the Gamecocks was immeasurable,” the district said. “Despite what she faced in life, Ms. Angeli inspired us with her positivity and courage. She brought light and joy to all who knew her. We ask that you join us by extending your thoughts and prayers to her family and everyone connected to her. Let us honor her memory by continuing to spread the joy and positivity she embodied every day.
