In a significant apdate, a 34-year-old suspect named Steve Phommachanh, is now facing serious charges in connection with the incident. More specifically, he’s been charged with murder, burglary, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and attempted murder. Now, those are some heavy-duty charges that justify the gravity of the crime in question. The suspect is currently in custody at the Buncombe County Detention Center.
