Big things are happening in Spartanburg! The Hub City Spartanburgers, the newest addition to the local sports scene, have just announced a fantastic partnership with the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. This collaboration is all set to enhance the experience for families and fans at the Fifth Third Park, making it a vibrant destination for community fun.
As part of this exciting partnership, Spartanburg Regional has come on board as a Cornerstone Partner and the Official Healthcare Provider for the Spartanburgers. This means that during home games, players will have access to top-notch orthopedic care through the healthcare system’s Sports Medicine Institute. Talk about keeping our players safe!
But it gets even better! Fans and visitors will also benefit from having Spartanburg EMS on-site at Fifth Third Park for any emergency needs. So whether you’re just enjoying a game with friends or cheering on the Spartanburgers, you can rest assured that medical care is just a shout away!
In a bid to make the ballpark more inviting for families, a brand-new area is launching called the Spartanburg Regional Kids Zone. Located down the third base concourse, this dedicated space aims to keep kids entertained and engaged throughout the game. It’s all about making memories and having fun!
The Kids Zone will feature a bunch of exhilarating attractions perfect for children aged 12 and under. Highlights include:
Also in the spirit of family fun, the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System will be the title sponsor for all Sunday home games, which are being branded as “Family Funday Sunday presented by Spartanburg Regional.” These games will kick off at a friendly 2:05 p.m., allowing little ones the chance to run laps around the bases post-game. Sounds like a perfect way to let off some steam!
Fans will notice some fantastic changes to their entry point into Fifth Third Park as well. The right field entrance will now be known as the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Gate, conveniently located near South Daniel Morgan Avenue and West Henry Street. Expect dazzling backlit signage welcoming you into the ballpark!
