Spartanburg Saturdays Bring Community Together at Hub City Farmer’s Market

Spartanburg Saturdays: Hub City Farmer’s Market Delights

If you’re a resident of Spartanburg, or even just visiting, make sure to mark your calendar for Saturdays. You won’t want to miss the phenomenal weekly event that is the Hub City Farmer’s Market. Combining the best in local produce, crafts, and community spirit, it’s a must-visit spot every weekend from April through to December.

The Hub City Farmer’s Market is a fantastic initiative run by a dedicated Non-Profit Organization. Its aim is simple but vital: to increase the supply, access, and demand for healthy, local food within the Spartanburg area.

When and Where

The Farmer’s Market is held every Saturday from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM at the Northside Harvest Park. This exciting weekly event starts on April 6 and runs all the way through to December 14. You can find the Market at 498 Howard St, Spartanburg – certainly worth a weekly visit, if you ask us!

Regardless of the season, vendors at the market provide local, seasonal products that truly capture the spirit of Spartanburg food. Moreover, the organization also operates a friendly, albeit less frequent, market in the brisk Winter months.

Aside from providing an excellent venue for locals to get fresh produce, the Hub City Farmers Market also does a fantastic job of advocating for a sustainable, local agricultural system.

More than Just a Market

But let’s face it, a trip to the Farmer’s Market is about more than just shopping. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture, meet the makers and growers firsthand, and truly feel part of the community.

And guess what? The fun doesn’t stop there! If you’re looking to spruce up your porch for the fall season, check out some of the top artisanal decor and accessories offered. With everything from festive garlands to artificial pumpkins, you can easily transform your outdoor space into a fall haven.

Make Your Own Charcuterie Board

A unique addition to your Saturday shopping list could be the ingredients for your very own charcuterie board. Grab different types of deli meats, cheeses, and seasonal fruits from the local vendors. This way, you can achieve that perfect fall charcuterie vibe at your next gathering!

Regardless of whether you’re a ‘foodie’, a lover of local crafts, or just someone who enjoys a vibrant community atmosphere, the Hub City Farmer’s Market is a Spartanburg experience you won’t want to miss!
