Spartanburg Incident: Two Minors in Custody Linked to Recent Shooting

In an unexpected turn of events in Spartanburg, S.C., law enforcement apprehended and charged two minor suspects in connection to an unsettling incident that occurred five days prior. The crime scene at Spartanburg left an 18-year-old battling for his life after he was gunned down in an apartment complex.

Soon after, they were transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice Detention Center in Columbia where they now await further proceedings. The authorities charged them with attempted robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and – the most serious allegation – attempted murder.

Emergency services scrambled to the Robert Smalls Apartments, located at 561 Wofford Street, only to find an 18-year-old lying on the ground, hardly clinging onto life with a gunshot wound on his chest. As we speak, the young victim is still in the hospital, yet, thankfully, is expected to pull through this horrifying ordeal.
