Plenty of local talent joined in the festivities. The main stage came alive as entertainers featuring a mix of drag performances and comedy routines filled the element. Their eclectic acts not only delighted the gathering of visitors, but they reflected the diversity and talent that Spartanburg’s local community boasts.
Among the entertainers was the master of ceremonies, Patti O’Furniture, who expressed her excitement declares, “I am so thrilled to be in my hometown of Spartanburg for the 16th year of the Upstate Pride March and Festival.”. A native of the city, she spoke enthusiastically about the pride she feels in seeing her community come together for a festival that embodies inclusivity and acceptance.
