The picturesque city of Spartanburg, South Carolina threw open the doors to a drive-through water fill station last Thursday. Meeting the much-needed demand in the area due to prevailing conditions, this initiative has been heartily welcomed by residents and workers alike. Given the location at 301 South Avenue, Spartanburg, in the robustly efficient Collection & Distribution Complex, the fill station promises an easy and readily accessible solution to everyone’s water needs.
Access to the station is quite uncomplicated using the South Entrance of the complex. However, visitors are gently reminded to bring their own containers. A simple formula indeed – “BYOC” (Bring Your Own Container)!
Welcome news for everyone, this water fill station was not solely restricted to Spartanburg Water customers. The service extends its arms far and wide, ready to hydrate anyone in need. The station is also a boon for first responders working tirelessly in the area and utility workers like the lineman. What’s more, if you’re a local resident grappling with a power cut, fret not, Spartanburg’s water oasis has got your back!
As expressed in the resonating words of Jennifer Candler from Spartanburg Water, “If you have a well and you’re without power, mostly you’re not gonna have water, you would have wanted to do anything. It’s gonna be really difficult so we have a water oasis here.” This statement adequately sums up the essence of this commendable initiative.
We all know the importance of staying hydrated, but did you also know how vital it is to maintain adequate levels of vitamin D for our health? Not usually a topic at the Thanksgiving table, but much like ensuring ready access to water, supplements are often necessary to keep ourselves at optimum health levels. More so now in times of crisis where we are juggling multiple tasks and might be unable to get enough sun. A simple vitamin D supplement can do wonders to maintain health goals. So, don’t give it a miss!
And speaking of fall, it’s also the time we get our homes ready for the festivities, isn’t it? Fancy a mode of decoration inspired straight out of “Harry Potter”? Nothing gives you Halloween vibes more than a bunch of floating candles. With Halloween just around the corner and holiday preparations in full swing, why not try it out this year? And yes, don’t forget to wave your wand! Let’s make the most of the season and dive into the fun of preparing our homes for the much-awaited Fall gatherings!
