What a time to be a burger lover in Spartanburg! Citizens of this vibrant city are in for a double-decker treat as the Texan burger giant, Whataburger, is all set to open two additional locations in quick succession. Yes, you read that right — two brand spanking new Whataburger joints to satisfy your burger cravings!
The first location, opening its doors on the city’s east side at 1941 E. Main St. in Hillcrest Market Plaza, will be welcoming its first customers on October 28. Not to be outdone, a week later, on November 4, the west side will be joining the proceedings with a grand opening of their own at 1510 W.O. Ezell Blvd., conveniently located near Old Navy.
These new additions will become the fifth and sixth Whataburger locations in the Upstate region and will join the ranks of the already popular branches in Boiling Springs, Greenville, Mauldin, and Anderson. Apart from these, the chain also boasts a bustling location in Irmo.
The Boiling Springs location, opened in the same shopping center as the county’s new Target, earned the distinction of being the first Whataburger in South Carolina. Its success paved the way for further expansion in the state, setting the stage for our two latest participants.
These upcoming openings promise to be occasions of real celebration. Customers should expect a fun-filled atmosphere featuring giveaways, a sea of orange balloons, and exclusive Whataburger merchandise that you won’t find elsewhere.
And if you’re worried about sitting in long drive-thru lines like the ones we saw at the Boiling Springs location, fret not! All cookie-cutter procedures have been polished since then to provide you with a seamless burger pick-up experience.
So mark your calendars, folks! The sizzle of fresh patties on the grill, the crunch of crispy fries, and the vibrant environment of a Whataburger grand opening await you. It’s a great time to tell those taste buds of yours to prepare themselves for a delightful burger journey, only at Whataburger.
The countdown has officially begun. Come to one, come to both – just make sure you’re part of this incredible burger bonanza!
