Couple Shines the Spotlight on Creativity at Spartanburg’s New & Old Booth-tiques

Jason and Suki Greene Live their Passion for Creativity

Jason and Suki Greene have always shown immense passion for creativity and believe in going an extra mile to make things extraordinary. The couple are fervent supporters of the spoken word poetry, are regular participants in vendor shows, and are strongly committed towards making a lasting impact with their unique touch.

The pair have always been deeply involved in anything handmade and have long desired to showcase the creativity of small entrepreneurs and business owners in their community. This led to the founding of the Spartanburg’s New & Old Booth-tiques (S.N.O.B.) at 150 W. Henry St., in downtown Spartanburg.

Local Vendors Find Platform at S.N.O.B.

S.N.O.B. is an imaginative and vibrant marketplace that plays host to local vendors displaying various types of products. Housed in a building painted a bright mint color, S.N.O.B. distinctly stands out, fully expressing the vibrant imagination of its founders. “We used to be the vendors who would pack up and go to other events,” Suki said. “It was a whole big hassle, and so we decided to focus on our dream. This is something I’ve always wanted to do.”

Following Dreams and Adding a Special Touch

“We always tell people to follow their dreams, but more importantly, we need to follow our dreams too,” says Jason. “We want to show others that it can be done. It’s a beautiful sight when you see your dreams taking shape.”

In September, the Greenes opened their own vendor store, S.N.O.B., not just to highlight their businesses but to spotlight other local establishments in Spartanburg. Every vendor housed in their marketplace offers a range of unique items that includes lingerie, bath goods, wood-burning items, men’s apparel, accessories, and more.

Events Enhance the Experience at S.N.O.B.

Every other week, the Greenes organize theme-based events at S.N.O.B., decorating the entire venue and showcasing products aligned with the theme. The next event on display will be their “Luck of the SNOB,” celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on the 16th and 17th of March. You can expect to find lucky sales, the entire store decorated in bright green and sparkling gold. “We want everyone to walk into the music, smell the food, see the decorations. It’s a total experience,” enhances Suki.

Even on non-event days, S.N.O.B. ensures your shopping experience is fun and unique. You can enjoy a glass of wine during their Sip n’ Shop Fridays, attend their events on Saturday, or take part in a relaxing Sip n’ Paint on Sundays.

Fostering Greater Creativity in Spartanburg

In summary, Jason and Suki’s passion and drive have fostered a sense of community and creativity in downtown Spartanburg. The vibrant and diverse selection of products offered by S.N.O.B. and the ongoing events have provided a platform for both vendors and consumers to engage, grow, and celebrate their unique creativities, leaving a lasting impact on the local Spartanburg community.
