The city of Boiling Springs is all set to welcome a new Target store this weekend, located at 3659 Boiling Springs Rd. According to the Store Director Jonathan Colbert, the doors will open at 8 a.m. on Sunday and remain open until 10 p.m., observing the regular operating hours. The team at the new Target location is eager for local shoppers to experience the offerings and services at this brand-new store.
The new Target store, spanning approximately 148,000 square feet, houses a CVS, Starbucks, and Ulta Beauty, all set to begin operations on the opening day. Furthermore, the store features a sizeable grocery section with an extensive assortment of food and beverages. “We’ve got a really large food and beverage assortment,” stated Colbert. “We’ve got a lot of grab-and-go, and our food and beverage will kind of reflect what you’d see in a large format grocery store.” Beginning Sunday, the store will start offering same-day drive-up and order pick-up services.
The new Target store is easily accessible via Boiling Springs Road and Old Furnace Road. As of Wednesday, there were no plans to direct traffic during the store opening, confirmed Lt. Kevin Bobo, Public Information Officer for Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.
This new retail destination will be the second Target store in Spartanburg County, following the one on Warren H. Abernathy Parkway, and the 16th in South Carolina, as seen on the retailer’s website. South Carolina is already home to Target stores located in Anderson, Greenville, Taylors, and Simpsonville.
The addition of Target to the Boiling Springs shopping center is the third of its kind, followed by Whataburger and QuikTrip. The planning for a McAlister’s Deli, Blaze Pizza, the expansion of ProGrin Dental, and a new daycare center is currently underway in the shopping center.
With the opening of this new store, Boiling Springs is set to offer a comprehensive shopping experience for local residents and shoppers.
