The primary day in Upstate South Carolina was a key event as U.S. Rep. William Timmons secured the Republican nomination for the 4th congressional district on Tuesday. According to confirmed reports, Timmons won with 36,502 votes over his rival’s 34,235 votes.
Expressing gratitude towards his supporters, Timmons stated: “I want to thank the voters for once again putting their trust in me. I am pleased that voters in the Fourth District saw through the countless lies from my opponent and recognized my hard work, strong conservative record, and the results I have gotten for my constituents.”
At his election night watch party, Morgan did not concede defeat despite trailing behind Timmons. Rather, he affirmed his commitment to continue the fight for conservative values.
