@spartanburgoneOut of an abundance of caution, Spartanburg One will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14.
This afternoon, our teams assessed road conditions throughout our attendance area. While today’s warmer temperatures (52°F) helped with some melting, many secondary roads remain hazardous due to lingering ice, snow, and black ice, particularly in shaded areas. These conditions are expected to refreeze overnight with the low temperature of 26°F, creating additional concerns for black ice.
This delay will allow our buses, staff, parents, and student drivers to travel more safely to school.
Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students, staff, and families.
@sptbglibrariesJoin us at the Middle Tyger Library for an afternoon with Jenni L. Walsh as she discusses her book Ace, Marvel, Spy, book signing to follow. The first 25 attendees will receive a free copy of Ace, Marvel, Spy. Fiction Addiction will be present to sell copies of Walsh’s books.
